固体绝缘材料电气强度试验仪主要适用于固体绝缘材料如：塑料薄膜、树脂、云母、陶瓷、玻璃、绝缘油、绝缘漆、纸板等介质在工频电压或直流电压下击穿强度和耐电压时间的测试；电压击穿试验仪采用计算机控制，试验过程中可在线观察试验曲线；自动存储试验条件及试验结果等数据，并可存取、显示、打印。

五、注意事项：
为高压试验设备，使用时必须注意以下几点:
1、仪器安装时应具有独立的接地线。
2、在开机前，操作者要首先熟悉操作方法。
3、仪器不能在有强烈腐蚀性气体及有颗粒杂质的气体环境中使用。
4、试验环境温度15度到25度之间，相对湿度60％到70％之间
5、试样击穿瞬间有火花产生并伴有声响，属正常现象。
6、每次更换试样或接触高压电极时必须用高压放电棒对高压电极进行放电，放电时间5秒以上。
7、每次进行试验前，必须检查仪器接地。
