Ferrule
The 8670A61 grade has outstanding flow properties, making it ideal for fine-structured design components such as plug connectors, known as ferrules. Ferrules can be injection moulded to incorporate holes to carry the 125 μm thick glass fibres to tolerances of 1-2 μm. These ferrules use Vectra grade A460, specially developed for such applications.
