PLA原料介绍：PLA是英文Poly Lactic Acid的缩写，中文名称为：聚乳酸。
PLA的生命周期是从植物种植光合作用吸收二氧化碳释放出氧气开始，到植物割后被送到工厂加工萃取出葡萄糖，到发本酵成为乳酸，再经聚合后变成聚乳酸（PLA），之后再用聚乳酸原料粒经过各种一般塑料的加工工艺，如吸塑成型，注塑成型，等制成各式各样的产品。
PLA产品的主要优点： 天然—植物来源，生物降解环保—节能减排永续—用每年可重复取得的原材料制造无毒—不含有毒化学物质，不含BPA，不含phthalate
Ingeo™ PLA 是由植物中的纤维中萃取出葡萄糖，经过发酵，减水以及聚合过程制造而成。在整个制成中*没有添加任何有害化学物质。目前zui广泛使用的天然植物性原材料为玉米。
产品zui终的处理方式包括堆肥（zui终分解成二氧化臧眼水，也是植物生长的要素）以及透过传统的回收，经特殊技术分离出乳酸。有别于一般石化塑料产品，PLA的循环可以是生生不息的。
适合的加工方式有：真空成型、射出成型、吹瓶、透明膜、贴合膜、保鲜膜、纸淋膜等。
