Safety and regulatory requirements
Elexar? TPEs include high-performance 
flame retardant compounds where RoHS 
compliance and UL V-0 ratings are standard, 
and all high-performance grades are designed 
to meet UL 1061 and pass the UL VW-1 vertical 
flame test for jacketing. UL 1581 continuous 
service ratings range from 105 to 125oC. Most 
grades are UL “yellow card" listed, meeting 
the requirements for outdoor weathering 
UV resistance, passing the UL 7-day 60°C 
oil resistance tests, and having brittleness 
temperatures well below –60°C.
