THERMOLAST? V compounds are based on cross-linked SEBS. The chemical cross-linking of the modified polystyrene end blocks results in a significantly higher stability of the PS blocks, which results in the desired characteristics of the material. Chemically cross-linked HSBC compounds are produced by means of dynamic vulcanisation in double screw extruders.
