Typical Molding Conditions

ACRYPET can be processed with the injection molding and the extrusion molding according to the typical molding method of thermoplastic resin.

1. Injection molding
Molding conditions differ vary on capability of machine, shape of products and structure of mold. It is recommended to configure the optimum conditions based on the temperature of cylinder and mold shown in the table below using as index before molding. However, fluidity varies according to resin types. Note that optimum molding temperature is different. In the molding of ACRYPET IR, strong haze appears just after molding, but it disappreas when its temperature goes down to room temperature.
