Contamination by foreign substance

The molded product made of ACRYPET is very often used in the fields depending on its optical characteristics, so that any foreign substance, even through being extremely minute scale, must not be mixed in. The mixing-in opportunities may be founded at many phases in molding process and so much time may be spent to eliminate those risks. Then, for shortly cutting those risks, the following check points must be much helpful.
(1) Measure how much dust is floating in your molding plant.
(2) Check whether ACRYPET is handled roughly or less cautiously at unpacking.
(3) Check whether mixing with other kind of resin in the predrying chamber or mixing with foreign substance coming from sliding surface of the drying plate and its bracket may be suspected.
(4) Check whether the hopper loader is cleaned compley.
(5) Check whether so severe friction exists between the metal wall of hopper loader and ACRYPET and whether the metal wall is scraped.
(6) Check whether smoke and dust intrudes from the air inlet of hopper dryer or whether any cause of foreign substance is found in the hopper dryer itself.
(7) Check whether any other kind of resin residue exists in the cylinder and the nozzle.
(8) Check whether scuffing on the cylinder and the screw is found.
(9) Check whether leakage of oil or powdery metal is found at the ejector pin of the mold or the other slidable parts.
