High-Tech-Ski boots are characterized by low weight, firm and comfortable fit and high precision in controlling the ski. These properties can be achieved by the use of impact-modified Desmopan? ski boot grades.
Advantages of this product group are high scratch resistance of the surface, high tear strength and tear propagation strength and very limited changes in the E-modulus at colder temperatures i.e. the stiffness is relatively constant over a temperature range of +20°C to -20°C.
The latest generation of Desmopan? ski boot grades is highly transparent up to a wall thickness of 6 mm. This offers greater freedom for fashionable design of modern ski boots and gives you an insight into the “inner life" of the shoe.
Of course these Desmopan? grades fulfill all necessary product requirements of ski boot materials as high scratch resistance of the surface, high tear strength and tear propagation strength and very limited changes in the E-modulus at colder temperatures.
