平模造粒机采用直导传动形式，在摩擦力的作用下使压辊自转，粉状物料在压辊的挤压下从模具孔中挤出，经过甩料盘将成品柱状颗粒送出（柱状颗粒长度可以通过调整切刀控制长度，同时也可将圆柱颗粒抛圆整形为圆球形颗粒）。平模造粒机主要是应用于生物有机肥柱状颗粒的生产，养殖业饲料颗粒的加工，具有耗电少、无振动、产量大、噪音低等特点。可广泛用于肥料、饲料、水产养殖等领域。
