中空成型
中空成型是树脂的成型方法,一般的硫化橡胶成型不能应用,而TPV材料可采用这种方法。如汽车用齿条和齿轮护罩,用TPV替代氯丁橡胶,采用中空成型方法可使该部件的成本降低30%一40%,且可轻量化,制品性能也有所改善;用于汽车净化的空气通风管,采用三维交换吹塑成型技术能够一边切断TPV和聚丙烯,一边吹气挤出(管子的两端采用TPV以提高密封性;管子的其他腹部使用交联型TPE以改善屈挠疲劳性和柔软性;为降低成本和保持一定的刚性,在管子的直线部位使用PP) [5]。以往由几个工件组合使用的部件可用一个工件代替,可大幅度缩减组合工序。此外,中空成型技术也在以一般吹气挤出为基础进行技术革新,开发成型精度良好的注射吹气成型、模压吹气成型等新技术。
